Personality Traits
I once ran twenty five miles without stopping to warn my village of an approaching orc horde. I'd do it again if I had to.

I'm driven by a wanderlust that led me away from home.

Ideals
Change. Life is like the seasons, in constant change, and we must change with it. (Chaotic)

Bonds
I suffer awful visions of a coming disaster and will do anything to prevent it.

Flaw
remember every insult I've received and nurse a silent resentment toward anyone who's ever wronged me.

Description
Borvik has olive skin, slightly elven facial features, green eyes, black hair and barely pointed ears. He is slim and wiry, inheriting most of his build from his elven parent. His height is 5'3" and weight is 118lbs. He keeps his hair short and has a perpetual 5 O'clock inherited from his human parent. He keeps his clothing clean and his weapons, armor and equipment is well cared for. (Imagine Bruce Lee in scale mail with Indiana Jones stubble and hat.)

Background
A very young Borvik was found wandering the woods by a group of hunters who took the ragged, half-starved boy back to their village. The boy could only understand a few words of common and did not remember where he was from or how he came to be in the forest. Ragged clothing and a multicolored stone disk were the only items he had with him.

An old widow took him in. That first night in the village is when the terrible visions of impending disaster started. The visions always showed people and places that he did not recognize being destroyed leaving nothing but fire and ruin behind.

When Borvik could he would wander the countryside exploring. On one of these adventures he came upon a large band of Orcs headed straight towards his village. Borvik raced back to his village and his warning let the village mount a successful defense.

Shortly after the Orc attack the widow died in her sleep. Driven by grief and a sense of urgency that the disaster in his visions was getting closer Borvik set out looking for information. Working as a bounty hunter or caravan guard he made his way across the land. This wandering went on for a few years until one day he was contacted. Who contacted him he did not know. His mind could barely comprehend the communication. The more he concentrated the more it seemed like his mind was trying to tear itself apart. Slowly he came to understand that the being that was contacting him was offering to help Borvik stop the disaster in his visions. The disaster that Borvik would do anything he could to stop? How could he refuse such an offer? On the next contact Borvik communicated to the being that he accepted the offer. Slowly the being communicated ideas and information that would allow Borvik to manipulate magic. Along with this information came an urging to travel to the town of Redlarch.
